Chef Christopher Ray has made his mark in the culinary world throughout the Twin Cities and beyond. A known authority on game cookery, he has authored two books published on the topic.
Certified in Nutritional Cooking from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY. Christopher previously was on the Advisory Councils for both the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary College in St. Paul and the Art Institute of Minneapolis. He has been a member of many food initiatives throughout the Upper Midwest. Christopher currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Harvest Market Community Co-op and most recently been asked to serve on a panel for the “Seed to Kitchen Collaborative” through the Department of Horticulture at the UW – Madison.
Chef Ray designed Five Course Catering as a cutting edge, custom catering company. Respected for their “extra” fine service and excellence with creativity and presentation of food.
Early in his career he was fortunate to be recognized with many awards, honors and accolades including: National Restaurant of the Year by America’s Pork Producers, National Chef of the Year, runner up, as voted by Chef Magazine, Best Specialty Ethnic Restaurant by Minnesota Monthly and toured the country in the Celebrated Chef program with the National Pork Producers.
